 Bhupatgad Fort is not located in Solapur, Maharashtra. It is situated in the Palghar district, specifically in the Jawhar taluka of Maharashtra. It's approximately 130-150 km away from Mumbai.

Bhupatgad is a hill fort with historical significance, dating back to the era of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, who included it in his Swarajya. It served as a watchtower overlooking the ancient trade route from Dahanu port to Nashik. Legend also mentions that Shivaji Maharaj held important personal and official meetings at this fort.
